The Way Uphill
The drongos glid past me,
The forked-tails a-twinkle,
The rooster head shone,
The velvet feathers unwrinkle.
The mountain path twisted solely,
Up amidst the Orange blooms,
Smelling heart-throbbing sweet,
My soul still there looms.
